Lambourne carpets was founded in 1985 (30 years ago) by John Matthews. We have established a number of long term relationships with our commercial clients and local customers within London & the Southeast Counties. We provide the highest quality personal service, supplying & installing all types of flooring: Carpets Tiles and Broadloom, resilient Flooring, Amtico, Karndean, Laminates, Solid & Engineered Woods
Our projects range from large commercial offices based in and around London such as Canary Wharf, The British Library, V&A Museum and the Dominion Theatre to commercial venues like Lords Cricket Ground and Eurostar.
We also specialise in flooring for schools, hotels, restaurants, hospitals and retail outlets who require hard wearing, hygienic, high performance and quality products.
The success of Lambourne Carpets & Flooring is based on our strong team. John Matthews - Managing Director has a wealth of knowledge and is SMSTS trained and still maintains a hand’s on approach to all projects large and small. He is very methodical and meticulous, his years of experience makes him perfectly skilled to look after all aspects of our projects from start to finish.
Our Contract Managers started life on the tools, so they have a total understanding of the practical aspect through to the business side of the company and are SMSTS trained (Site Management Safety Training Scheme). All our operatives are CSCS approved and attend annual Asbestos and, Health & Safety training.
Lambourne’s office based staff are highly valued as important as our on-site staff they are the backbone to the business, providing full support, customer service and staying true and focused to our clients and customer’s needs.
With 30 years experience, John started the business in 1985 on the tools through to Managing Director of the company.
13 years experience, starting in Retail Sales, Nikki is currently PA to the Managing Director.
Michelle joined Lambourne Carpets in 2014 and has since provided excellent administration support to the business.
With nearly a decades experience,
Gary currently runs our prestigious commercial projects.
Steven is our newest Contract Manager and has been a huge help for the commercial team.
Harry started in the retail side of the business and since progressed under our training scheme to be a Contracts Manager.
Matt has been a vital memeber for our domestic based jobs and works alongside our warehouse crew as well as estimates the properties of our residential customers.
Sandie is our frontline retail representative, experienced in customer relations and product sales.
